The leaders at Mile 2 close on the tail of Luck Northall.
It was second time lucky for the Nick Beer 10K race organised by North Wales Road Runners after the first was cancelled due to Storm Denis. Some quick organising meant it was re scheduled for the 7th March with the majority of people affected returning to race along the promenade at Llandudno.
The usual route for the Nick Beer race is round the Great Orme, but a rock fall meant that an alternative route was required, which at least made the course slightly flatter!
Three photographer from SportpicturesCymru arrived in Llandudno in plenty of time on a windy day at Llandudno. Simon headed off to the 1 and 5 mile turn around point whilst Wendy used a trigger at mile 2 and 4 due to an ongoing hand problem. I however, stayed at the finish to capture the runners finishing their Nick beer 2020 race.
427 runners finished with Luke Northall from Wrexham AAC taking an early led and would have won the race had it not been for a stone in his shoe! At the 5 mile point he was well ahead, but it wasn't him who came over the finish line first, but Dilwyn Powell-Jones from Eryri Harriers in a time of 34:51.
